Refund Policy

Therapeutic Interventions and Psychological Services, PLLC ("TIPS," "we," "our," or "us") provides professional psychological services, including individual therapy, psychological assessments, consultation, mental performance coaching, workshops, groups, and other related services.

Because our services involve reserved appointment times, professional preparation, and individualized care, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for services that have already been rendered.

Fees for completed appointments, evaluations, consultations, coaching sessions, workshops, reports, and other professional services are non-refundable.

Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At TIPS, we understand that unexpected circumstances may occur. To provide consistent and timely care for all clients, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or requests to reschedule appointments.

Late Cancellations

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the client's standard session fee.

This fee is charged because the appointment time has been reserved exclusively for you and typically cannot be offered to another client with limited notice.

Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client.

Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

Clients who do not attend a scheduled appointment and do not provide prior notice will be charged a fee equal to the client's standard session fee.

Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a review of scheduling arrangements and continuation of services.

Exceptions to Cancellation Fees

We recognize that emergencies and unexpected situations may occur. Cancellation fees may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Therapeutic Interventions and Psychological Services, PLLC.

Examples that may be considered include:

Medical emergencies
Significant personal emergencies
Situations outside of the client's reasonable control

Psychological Assessments

Psychological assessments require significant professional time, including preparation, administration, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback sessions.

Once assessment services have begun, fees for completed portions of the evaluation process are non-refundable.

If an assessment is discontinued before completion, any remaining balance or refund consideration will be determined based on the services already provided and the terms outlined in the assessment agreement.

Workshops, Groups, and Events

Registration fees for workshops, educational presentations, groups, or other events may have separate cancellation policies provided at the time of registration.

Unless otherwise stated, registration fees are non-refundable after services or events have occurred.

Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact our office promptly.

If a billing error is confirmed, appropriate corrections will be made.
